Website audits and purchases

We use submitted website addresses to perform the requested audit. Reports can contain website findings and evidence. Paid report and rescan access lasts seven days. Payment processing is handled by Stripe; card details are entered on its checkout, rather than in CheckYourSite's scan form. Purchase emails use the email address supplied at checkout.

Microsoft Clarity analytics

We use Microsoft Clarity in cookieless mode to understand interaction with the public landing page through behavioural metrics, heatmaps and session replay. Microsoft receives device, browser and interaction information. Analytics storage and advertising storage are denied; Clarity analytics cookies are not enabled. We respect Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals. We mask the scan form and report area, and stop collection when you interact with the scan form. Clarity is excluded from paid report pages, rescans, checkout-return URLs and pages containing URL query parameters or fragments. We do not send submitted website addresses, report contents, email addresses, payment details or report-access tokens as analytics events or identifiers.
